Wonderful Day Today

Today has been a great day; my wife and children accompanied by myself; went to McDonalds for a quick lunch. Afterwards we went to the park so that they could play; they including my wife. lol, Well we had a wonderful time at the park.
When the fun had died down we went home to a nice dinner of chicken, corn on the cob, and a tossed salad. It was so nice to be able to actually sit down to a nice family dinner again. This isn't something we have been able to do in a long while. I was just recently able to cut back my hours at work to part time; this allowing me to spend more time with my family. I have been very concerned that I am not going to be able to take an active role in the lives of my children. Alex my oldest is going to be 13 in December and I can't really believe he is already a teenager. Although not my biological son; I couldn't have asked for a smarter more dedicated son than he. I enjoy sharing my day to day adventures with him and he always listens with such awe and love. Coming from a man that cannot have children of his own; this is truly a gift to me.
Lately I have came across a few online surveys that involved the thoughts of children that own video game consoles and games. Alex was totally ecstatic about helping dad work; he talked about it all evening to his mother and sisters. Like any close knit family the girls went into a flux about wanting to help dad too. So as soon as I have the opportunity to include them in the next survey I surely will. Either that or I fear they will stuff their brother down the commode!
My evening was ended by the movie Madagascar and the young ones running around the house having fits; it was bath and then bed time, my son seems to have issues with sharing the bathroom with my youngest, Summer. She wails for him to hurry up until he exits the restroom bumping into her and getting scolded by his mother.
When my three little angels finally made it to bed I was able to spend some quiet time with my wife. She is a wonderful woman and I couldn't ask for more. Suggesting we get in a little work we decided to spend a few hours doing online surveys and reading paid emails. She made forty dollars and I made sixty; all in three hours. I have to admit that the total amount is from more than one site; due to the daily limit some of them have. But I consider one hundred dollars a nice pay for three hours of work; and my wife absolutely loves doing surveys so it keeps her content and in a great mood. For me it is relaxing and sometimes if I don't see the payout I want; it will get a little aggravating. Although I get frustrated at times this is when working from home is a benefit. I just get up and walk away from the computer to get a drink of water and a breath of fresh air. That way when I decide to return to the computer I have a clear head and a calm mood. It always makes work easier knowing that you can walk away when you need to, or take a break and eat or drink when you want.
Well I am being told it is late and that she wants me to come to bed; so goodnight to all and blessings to you and yours. Take care and may life's many gifts find their way to your door!
